40th Development Days of the Third World Association
For forty years, the Association Tiers Monde (ATM) Development Days have been bringing together researchers in economics and other social science disciplines from all over the world.
After Paris (2024) and Bordeaux (2023), Toulouse will have the honor and pleasure of hosting this major event for its fortieth anniversary in 2025.
The 40th ATM Development Days will be held from June 4 to 6, 2025 at Sciences Po Toulouse on the Manufacture des Tabacs site, on the theme: Ecological Economy and the South: What’s at stake? Given the scale of today’s governance challenges, at different spatial and temporal scales, associated with the global environmental crisis, the institutional dimension is the hallmark of these 40th days organized by the Association Tiers Monde (ATM).
They will focus on ecological economics and development studies and actors, as well as the mechanisms developed within public action and policies, not forgetting sustainability assessment mechanisms for and in Southern countries. The event will feature several highlights, including a round-table discussion on the theme of environmental justice organized by SOFEE (Société francophone d’économie écologique) and a forum theater organized by Occitanie Coopération.
