CBMI 2026

International Conference on Content-Based Multimedia Indexing

After 22 successful editions across Europe, the 2026 IEEE International Conference on Content-Based Multimedia Indexing (IEEE CBMI) conference will take place in Toulouse, France, in October 2026.

The IEEE CBMI aims to bring together the various communities involved in all aspects of content-based multimedia indexing for search, navigation, management, visualisation and analysis. It encourages contributions addressing both the theoretical aspects and practical applications of IEEE CBMI. Authors are invited to submit unpublished research papers highlighting significant contributions addressing these topics. In addition, special sessions on specific technical aspects or application areas are planned, and calls for papers will be issued in due course.
