THE SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR YOUR EVENTS

Toulouse Team Meetings is the convention bureau of Toulouse Métropole. It is a service of Toulouse Team, the city’s development agency. It is the gateway to the city for anyone planning a conference or business event. Its role is to offer free, tailor-made support to ‘make the city easy’ for organisers (associations, agencies, companies).

• Help in finding the right professionals to meet the needs of any project (venues, accommodation, services);
• Connections with private and public partners in the destination;
• Access to a personalised management platform;
• “Welcome Pack” services.

The CVB is your specialist contact to facilitate your events and make your “Toulouse experience” a success.
If Toulouse has not yet been officially chosen to host the event, we can assist you with the bidding process:

• Support in drafting and completing your application;
• Provision of marketing materials to help you promote your project (photos, videos, texts, key statistics, etc.);
• Preparing for and attending the inspection visit;
• Attendance at pre-application meetings.

Its main missions

Promote the region by highlighting the destination’s assets to attract professional events; participate in trade shows to promote the destination to event organisers.

Support organisers by providing information and advice on infrastructure, meeting venues, hotels, service providers, etc. and offering solutions tailored to organisers’ specific needs.

Centralising and coordinating the local offer by acting as an intermediary between event organisers and local service providers and institutions (hotels, convention centres, event agencies, etc.).

Develop partnerships by establishing and maintaining relationships with local tourism stakeholders, public institutions and private companies, and encourage collaboration between the various players to improve the destination’s offer and appeal.

Support marketing and communication by providing promotional and marketing materials to market the destination to professional participants.

Research and development: carrying out market research to identify trends and the needs of event organisers, and assessing the satisfaction of organisers and delegates in order to constantly improve the services on offer.

Logistical and administrative support: helping to prepare bids to attract major international events and conventions.

In summary, the role of a convention bureau is crucial in boosting business tourism in a region, by facilitating the organisation of professional events and showcasing local resources.

MAJOR EVENTS

The Toulouse convention bureau is present at key business tourism events: national and international trade shows (IMEX, IBTM, Heavent Meetings…) and European workshops.

We arrange face-to-face meetings (sales missions) and destination fam trips to convince project sponsors (event agencies and companies) to hold their events in Toulouse.

We work with scientific and economic project leaders, and provide support for events.
